Pakistan defeated India by 10 wickets in the Group-2 match of the T20 World Cup 2021 Super-12 on Sunday to start the current tournament with a win. For Pakistan, captain Babar Azam (68) and Mohammad Rizwan (89) scored important half-centuries and played a century partnership for the first wicket. Captain Virat Kohli scored a brilliant half-century for India. He scored 57 runs in 49 balls. Apart from him, Rishabh Pant played an important innings of 39 runs.

Pakistan had won the toss and decided to bowl first, after which Team India, batting first, scored 151 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs, in response to which Pakistan played 17.5 overs without losing any wicket. Scored 152 runs and achieved the target easily.

This is Pakistan’s first win against India in the history of the ICC T20 World Cup. Earlier, both the teams have faced each other 5 times in this major ICC tournament, out of which the Indian team won all the matches, but today Pakistan foiled India’s ‘Mission 6-0’.
