A strong earthquake has struck near Bandar Abbas in southern Iran. The preliminary magnitude is 6.4.
Shaking was felt across the region, including in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, and parts of Oman and Saudi Arabia.
