Before Oman, Scotland had defeated Bangladesh and Papua New Guinea in the qualifier round matches. They have now entered Group 2 in Super 12 which includes India, Pakistan, New Zealand and Afghanistan.
Of course, after a great performance in the qualifier round, the Scotland team will be eager to play with the best teams in the Super12 round as well. Meanwhile, Scottish spinner Mark Watt warned Virat Kohli. Watt said that he has prepared some plans for the world’s best batsman Virat Kohli.
Talking to Mirror Sports, Watt said, ‘I have some plans ready for Virat. I will not disclose them at this point of time but they need to be careful. That’s why you play a game so that you can face the big players. You always challenge yourself against the best players and Virat is definitely one of the best players in the world. All the players are ready to show their talent in front of the world.
He further said, ‘I think we are going to make some big upsets. We have done it before, we have beaten the best ODI team in the world, we have beaten Bangladesh here and I think the rest of the teams will not take us lightly. They will have to think about Scotland, we are in great form and we have to build that up going forward. I don’t think we need to do anything differently, we have won all three matches.
