Babar Azam from Karachi Kings is the top run-getter of PSL 2021, with 501 runs across 10 matches at an average of 71.57. In the last 5 games, he has scored 3 fifties and 6 fifties across group stages. His best of 90 came against Multan sultans in their third match of the PSL. His batting heroics helped his team to make the cut into Play-off after finishing fourth in the group stages.
Mohammad Rizwan from Multan Sultan has amassed 470 runs across 10 matches at an average of 52.22. In the first 5 matches, he was in hot form scoring 297 runs, but the team struggled in the first phase losing 4 out of the first 5 matches. The wicket-keeper batsman’s best score came in the second half of the tournament when he scored 82 against Peshawar Zalmi. Multan sultans finished 2nd in group stages, winning 5 out of 10 matches.
Sarfaraz Khan is the skipper of Quetta Gladiators and also the highest run- scorer for the team. The first hundred of this PSL was scored by him when he scored 105 against Islamabad United. His performance, along with Babar Azam, has put the team in a good position ahead of knockouts.
Sohaib Maqsood from Multan Sultans has scored 304 runs across 10 matches at an average of 38, which also included 3 fifties in it. His best of 61 came against Peshawar Zalmi, where he also had a 100+ partnership with skipper Mohammad
Rizwan. With both these players at the top-performing well, Multan Sultans finished second in the group stages.
