He was the leading run-scorer in the Syed Mushtaq Ali, finishing with 377 runs in 10 innings. Hardik also picked up ten wickets and was instrumental in Baroda reaching the finals. His effective all-round performance impressed Mumbai, and they bought him in the 2015 edition of the Indian T20 League.
Talking about his international career, he has played 57 ODIs, 48 T20Is and 11 Test matches for India with a combined return of 2173 runs.
