Virat Kohli leads the chart for most number of double-centuries by an Indian in test cricket.

Virat Kohli celebrated his 50th Test match as the skipper of the Indian team with a fascinating 254* in the first innings of the second Test match in Pune against South Africa.

Kohli’s 254* has now made him sit at the helm of the list for the Indian batsmen with the most number of double centuries. Here are the top four Indian batsmen with the most number of double tons in Test cricket.

Virat Kohli surpassed Virender Sehwag after he smashed an unbeaten 254 against South Africa in Pune. With this, Kohli also went past the 7000-run mark in Test cricket.

Kohli is followed by Virender Sehwag who went past the 200-run mark in an innings six times for India. Out of these six occasions, Sehwag also notched a couple of triple centuries for his side.

Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar also struck six double centuries that included his highest individual score of 248*.
