Bangladesh cricket is still considered to be the one that is rising through the ranks despite playing the game regularly for over the years now.

They have been the most disappointing team in the longer format of the game in the past two decades while they have just shown some improvement in the limited-overs cricket.

But more than their consistency of dismal performances, it’s Bangladesh’s over-aggressive behaviour both on and off the field that takes away that little credit they can get.

Something similar happened on Sunday when the Bangladesh U19 team got involved in a heated and aggressive argument with the Indian counterparts after they were crowned the new champions.

The videos of the same went viral while their skipper Akbar Ali did show his disappointment on whatever happened.

Taskin Ahmed-MS Dhoni

During the 2016 Asia Cup, morphed picture of Bangladesh bowler Taskin Ahmed holding MS Dhoni’s head went viral on social media. Bangladesh were in the finals after beating Pakistan and had to face Indian in the final.

Mushfiqur Rahim’s tweet after India’s 2016 World T20 exit

Bangladesh wicketkeeper Mushfiqur Rahim insulted the Indian team after they were eliminated from the World T20 2016. India were out of the tournament after losing to West Indies in the final and Rahim subsequently posted a tweet that read, “Happiness is this….Now I can sleep much better…Windies u beauty !!!”

Cricket is all about playing with zeal and passion and this at times leads to a heated exchange of words between the players but at the same time, it’s the responsibility of the cricketers to maintain the respect towards the game and their colleagues.

Bangladesh surely lack this skill.
