Former India player Yuvraj Singh has confirmed his return to domestic cricket. The left-handed player announced retirement from all forms of cricket in June 2019.
“I enjoyed spending time with these youngsters, and talking to them about various aspects of the game, I realised that they were able to pick up various things that I was telling them,” Yuvraj, 38, said on Wednesday afternoon, as he confirmed his comeback plans.
Yuvraj made his India debut in the Knockout trophy in 2000 where the Sourav Ganguly-led side ended as runners-up.
He performed exceptionally well in the 2007 World T20 that India won under MS Dhoni while was the Man of the tournament in the 2011 World Cup as well.
Yuvraj holds the record for smashing six sixes in an over against England in the T20I cricket.
