India made yet another change in the World Cup 2019 squad after Vijay Shankar was ruled out of the tournament with a toe injury. Mayank Agrawal has been roped in as his replacement.

The BCCI in a tweet on their official handle said,”Vijay Shankar ruled out of World Cup due to injury. Mayank Agarwal has been named as a replacement,”

India lost to England by 31 runs on Sunday and are placed at number 2 in the points table. They will next play Bangladesh in Edgbaston on Tuesday and a win in this game will book a spot for them in the semis.

Earlier, Rishabh Pant replaced Shankar in the match against England.
