India suffered an 18-run defeat against New Zealand in the semi-final of the World Cup 2019 in Manchester. Chasing 240, India were 92/6 when Ravindra Jadeja joined hands with MS Dhoni and stitched a stand of 116 runs. Jadeja’s valiant 77 off 59 gave some hopes to the India fans but they were soon dented after the two batsmen departed.

Jadeja’s wife Rivaba Jadeja told that the left-hander was inconsolable after the loss.
