On this day in 2013, Zimbabwe created history after beating Pakistan in a Test match in Harare. Batting first, Zimbabwe scored 294 in the first innings, thanks to the half-century from Taylor and later bundled out Pakistan for 230 after Brian Vitori picked up a fifer.
Later, the hosts managed to score 199 to hand Pakistan a target of 264 runs. The visiting team didn’t really looked in control till Khurram Manzoor and Misbah-ul-Haq joined hands and steadied the ship for the side. Both the batsmen scored individual half-centuries but their efforts went in vain as Pakistan lost the match by 24 runs eventaually.
