The captain was rested for the T20Is against Bangladesh and will return back to action in the Test series. India won the T20I fixture 2-1.

Earlier, Kohli spent his free time with wife Anushka in Bhutan and also celebrated his birthday there. The Indian team has been in terrific form in the Test Championships as they are sitting at the helm of the points table.
