India skipper Virat Kohli once again showed his leadership skills, this time not with his game plan but with his gestures. During the first day of the first Test between India and Bangladesh, the crowd was busy with ‘Kohli Kohli’ chants. But the captain signaled that the fans should rather cheer for Mohammed Shami instead of him.

India ended the day’s proceedings in a strong manner. In reply to Bangladesh’s 150, the hosts were 86/1 when the stumps were called.
Earlier, the seamers dominated the Bangladesh batting line up and shared a total of seven wickets among themselves.
