Former India captain MS Dhoni has been one of the finest and the most swift glovesman behind the wickets. While he was a brilliant wicket-keeper, Dhoni also led India to three ICC trophies. India won the World T20 in 2007, 50-over World Cup in 2011 and Champions Trophy in 2013. Here we take a look at some of his stumpings before Dhoni became the captain.
Dhoni called it a day from international cricket on August 15, 2020 along with Suresh Raina. Dhoni is the only second Indian captain to win the one day World Cup after Kapil Dev while the wicket-keeper batsman is the only skipper to win all the three ICC trophies.
Dhoni last played for India in the semi-final of the World Cup 2019 against New Zealand that the team lost and bowed out of the tournament.
