New Zealand spinner Mitchell Santner had a pretty good outing in this first match against England. he first scored a hundred to help his side grab a big fist innings lead and followed it with a three-for and a brilliant catch in the inner circle.

During the 77th over of the second innings of the English team, Ollie Pop miscued a shot off a full toss from Neil Wagner and Santner grabbed a stunning catch to send the batsman back in the hut.

New Zealand later won the match by an innings and 65 runs while Wagner completed his five-wicket haul in the second innings.
