Former India batsman VVS Laxman has said that Virat Kohli’s team has fulfilled his dream by winning Test series in Australia.
For the first time after 1947, India won the Test series in Australia. India has defeated the team led by Tim Paine 2–1 in the four-match series. Apart from this, it was also the first time that Team India won the first match of a Test series on Australian soil.
India played eight Tests this year and won seven. One match was a draw. Apart from this, the Indian team played a total of 28 ODIs and won 19. Also, India won nine of the 16 T20 matches. Captain Kohli also called it special in his 2019 career.
