Legendary all-rounder Kapil Dev says that Virender Sehwag was the most explosive batsman in cricket but his speciality was that he used to play cricket in away.

He did not get caught up in the cricketing reality in which the cricketer starts doing zero again after making 100. Sachin was quite weak in this matter. He would make a century and strike others about Singhal while Sehwag became more dangerous.

Kapil Dev said- Sehwag scored a total of 23 centuries in his career which included two triple centuries and four double centuries.

Sehwag was once got out for 293 or else he would have become the only batsman to score three triple centuries in Test cricket. Another big inning of Sehwag was 254 runs. Many times you have to be very ruthless after scoring a century, Sehwag was far ahead of Sachin in this matter.

Former fast bowler Kapil, who took 400 Test wickets for the first time from India, said- I used to tell Sehwag that you follow Sachin.

Sehwag had so many shades that if he stays on the wicket for half an hour, he will give hundreds. At the same time, I used to tell Sachin that they should watch Sehwag’s batting, who once hit a hundred or not at least one boundaries in every over after scoring a century. After this, he will reach his double century in the next 20 overs.
