India registered a landslide victory over South Africa in the first Test match played in Visakhapatnam. India defeated Proteas by 203 runs. Along with the batsmen, the bowlers also played an important role in Team India. While Rohit Sharma and Mayank Agarwal played strong innings in batting, the bowlers showed R Ashwin, Mohammed Shami and Ravindra Jadeja.
Jadeja, who did a great job with the ball in the first match, felt bad about this comment by former Indian explosive batsman Virender Sehwag, due to which he has expressed displeasure towards Sehwag. Actually, Sehwag tweeted on Team India’s victory after the match and praised the performance of Indian players but he did not write the name of Jadeja. In his tweet, Sehwag left the name of Jadeja and named Ashwin, Pujara, Mayank and Shami all.
Fantastic test match for @ImRo45 , a dream beginning to opening the batting in Test cricket. Wish him the very best. That was a convincing win for India with some great contributions from Mayank, Shami, Ashwin , Pujara . #IndvSA
