India have announced the squad for the T20Is for South Africa series. The Indian team will be led by Virat Kohli while Rohit Sharma will be his deputy.

MS Dhoni hasn’t found a place in this side and Rishabh Pant will be the first-choice wicket-keeper in his absence. Navdeep Saini who had a good start to his career in the colours has also found a place for himself while Khaleel Ahmed and Deepak Chahar are the other two seamers.

The spin department comprises of Ravindra Jadeja, Krunal Pandya, Wahsington Sundar and Rahul Chahar. Krunal’s brother and all-rounder Hardik Pandya is also back in the team.

The three-match T20I series begins on September 15 in Dharamsala with the second and third matches to take place Mohali (September 18) and Bengaluru (September 22) respectively. This will be followed by a three-Test series beginning on October 2.
