{akistan pacer Junaid Khan has praised India captain Virat Kohli and said that he is the best batsman across all formats. Junaid further on to say that Kohli’s consistency in all three formats makes him the best batsman in the world.

“No doubt (Virat) Kohli is the best batsman in all three formats. If you ask anyone, they would say that players like Babar Azam, Joe Root, Kane Williamson, Steve Smith are the currently the best in the world but on top of the list is Kohli because he has been outstanding in all three formats,” Junaid said in a video uploaded on Cricingif YouTube channel.

Though Kohli had struggled against Junaid as he just managed to score 3 runs against the left-arm pacer while facing him.

“Virat jokingly said to me ahead of the series that these are Indian pitches and that balls won’t swing or seam here. I said ‘we will see, because I have plenty of momentum with me as well.”

The Indian skipper will be back in action with the IPL 2020 and then the tour of Austalia. He last played against New Zealand.

India toured New Zealand earlier this year where they won the T20Is but lost the ODIs and the Tests. Kohli had a miserable run with the bat on that tour. The Men in Blue were later slated to play a bilateral tie against South Africa at home but that too was cancelled.

Junaid has played a total of 22 Tests, 76 ODIs and 9 T20Is in which he has scalped 71, 110 and 9 wickets respectively.
