Virat Kohli on Saturday became the first Indian batsman to score a hundred in the day-night Test. The skipper achieved the feat during India’s maiden pink-ball Test against Bangladesh at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens ground.

India are playing their first-ever pink ball Test in Kolkata and the hosts had a brilliant start to this new format of Test cricket. The fast bowlers rattled the Bangladesh batting line up to bundle out them for 106 and later skipper Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara struck individual half-centuries.
