The former Pakistan players have been pretty vocal about Indian cricket in the past few days and have been making some controversial statements. In another instance, the present PM of Pakistan and former skipper Imran Khan has said that the Indian team was easily beaten by his side during his playing days.
“In our days, I used to feel sorry for the Indian team. We used to beat them so often they used to be under a lot of pressure,” Khan said.
Imran added that present India has become a better team now. The right-handed all-rounder led Pakistan to a World Cup win in 1992.
PM Imran Khan "I used to feel sorry for the Indian team because we beat them so often. They were under a lot of pressure. When I used to go to toss with their captain, I'd look at his face & he would be looking scared. Our rivals in those days weren't India" #Cricket pic.twitter.com/wI2nYb3QFM

Earlier, former skipper Inzamam-ul-Haq has said that the Indian batsmen scored runs for personal records and not for the team. Inzy also praised Imran and said the then captain had the ability to get the work done by his players.
Fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar faced a backlash a few days back when he proposed a bilateral tie between India and Pakistan to raise funds for the fight against COVID-19 and also said, “If India can make 10,000 ventilators for us, Pakistan will remember this gesture forever.”
India have been pretty dominant against Pakistan in the recent past. The neighbouring country has never defeated India in a World Cup match. The arch-rivals have played against each other in 1992, 1996, 1999, 2003, 2011, 2015 and 2017. While they have never been successful in a 50-over World Cup, the story of World T20 isn’t any different.
