Samit Dravid is following the footsteps of his father, Rahul Dravid in Cricket. It is being discussed to see something similar in Indian cricket. Samit Dravid, son of former India captain Rahul Dravid, has scored a double century in the Under-14 state-level match. The 14-year-old, Samit scored 201 against the Dharwad zone while playing for Vice President XI in the Under-14 Inter-Zonal Tournament.
He not just scored a double century but also did brilliant bowling by grabbing three wickets too. In this double century of Samit, 22 fours were included in the innings of 256 balls. The match ended on a draw. Samit also batted well in the second innings and scored an unbeaten 94 runs. He also took three wickets. The match eventually ended on a draw.
Samit has not come in the headlines for the first time. He has not attracted everyone with its performance for the first time. The young player first came to the limelight in 2015 when playing under-12 cricket in Bengaluru, he hit three half-centuries for its school Malaya Aditi International. In his three innings match, only his team won.
Samit has also scored a match-winning century in 2016. He scored 125 against Frank Anthony Public School while playing for Bangalore United Cricket Club. Samit had formed a 213 partnership with Pratyusha. In the 30-over match, the Samit’s team had registered a victory of 246 runs.
It is being said that Samit is following in his father’s footsteps. Rahul is considered to be the best batsman of Team India’s No.3 position. He has scored 13288 Tests and 10889 ODI runs in a 16-year career. Rahul Dravid is also the Legend of International Cricket.
