Bangladesh defeated India in a T20 match for the first time. Bangladesh started their tour of India with a win by defeating India by seven wickets in the match played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Sunday. Bangladesh won the toss and bowled first, stopping the Indian team for 148 runs. A total of eight bowlers bowled for Bangladesh and kept the star players of the Indian team under control.
Team India also felt the lack of star players like Virat Kohli, Jaspreet Bumrah, Bhubaneswar and Kuldeep Yadav. Under Rohit’s captaincy, the team made some big mistakes, due to which the match got out of their hands.
After the early dismissal of Rohit Sharma, the Indian team started very slowly with a new ball and scored 70 runs at the rate of seven, losing three wickets in 10 overs.
The Indian team played only two regular fast bowlers on the Delhi pitch. Deepak Chahar and Khalil Ahmed handled the pace bowling for the team. Although Pitch looked slow and the ball was going to stop, in such a way, if India had fed another fast bowler, it could have benefited.
At the same time, the Indian team’s fielding also looked very sluggish. Shikhar Dhawan, who was once in fantastic form, was runout for 41 due to poor coordination. While Rishabh Pant gave up an easy run out of Mushfiqur in the 10th over, Krunal Pandya also dropped an important catch of Mushfiqur near the boundary in the 18th over and also gave an extra four runs.
