'The Hundred' draft took place on Sunday.

The maiden draft of ‘The Hundred’ concluded on Sunday. Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan emerged to be the first pick while Luke Wright was the last one. Surprisingly, Chris Gayle, Lasith Malinga and Kagiso Rabada went unsold.

The tournament that’ll start in July next year and will run for 38 days where 32 matches will be played before the playoffs. Each side could only pick three overseas players, at least two local icons and a player from England’s central contract.

The seven salary brackets – GBP 125,000, 100,000, 75,000, 60,000, 50,000, 40,000 and 30,000 made seven rounds of a couple of picks each for the eight team.
