India’s blind cricket team kick-started their journey in the Caribbean islands after grabbing a thumping 8-wicket win over Jamaica at the Melbourne Cricket Oval, Kingston.
India skipper Arjun Reddy won the toss and put the opposition into bat. The hosts were soon reduced to 20/3 in the sixth over and were bundled out for 117. The skipper returned with a three-for.
In reply, Sunil Ramesh led the chase as he struck an unbeaten 90 off just 39 balls to give India a 1-0 lead in the series of three matches.
