Punjab batsman Shubman Gill got involved in a controversy on Friday after he indulged in an argument with the on-field umpires during the side’s Ranji trophy 2019/20 match at home.
The on-field umpire declared Gill out on one of the deliveries from Subodh Bhati but the right-handed batsman argued and made the officials overturn the decision after the game was halted for nearly ten-minutes.
If reports are to believed, Gill also abused the umpires after the decision. He eventually scored 23 before getting out to Simarjeet Singh.
