The Pakistan cricket team is struggling to find a sponsor for themselves and the t-shirts will now have Shahid Afridi Foundations’ logo on it.
“We’re delighted that the @SAFoundationN logo will be featured on the Pakistan playing kits, since we are charity partners to @TheRealPCB. Thanking #WasimKhan & the PCB for their continued support & wishing our boys all the very best with the tour,” former skipper Afridi tweeted.
Pakistan is set to face England in three Tests and three T20Is each away from home. The first Test is slated to begin from August 5 in Manchester while the other two will be played at Southampton respectively.
The T20Is will be played at Old Trafford on August 28 and 30 and September 1.
One of the sources in PCB had said that the board was in contact with a multi-national beverage company but it had offered an amount far below the expectations of the board’s marketing pundits.
