According to former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram, Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar are two different players with totally distinguished mind set.

Talking to Aakash Chopra on his YouTube Channel, Akram said that Kohli is naturally aggressive while Tendulkar was more calm during his playing days.

“Virat is very aggressive, as a person, as a batsman – positive aggression. Sachin was calm and yet aggressive; different body language,” Akram told Aakash Chopra on his YouTube Channel.

“Sachin would get more determined if I sledge him but Kohli will lose his temper.”

Tendulkar holds a number of records. He is the highest run-getter in the world while has scored 100 hundreds in his career and also notched the first ever double ton in ODI format in men’s cricket.

On the other hand, Kohli too has been etching his name in the record books. He scored a ton on his World Cup debut against Bangladesh back in 2011 while holds the record for the fastest ODI ton by an Indian. Talking about Test cricket, Kohli has scored 7 double tons, most by an Indian batsman.

He averages more than 50 across all formats and is the skipper of the Indian team in all the three forms of the game. In the Indian Premier League (IPL), Kohli leads RCB. The right-handed batsman’s most successful campaign came in 2016 where he struck a total of 973 runs and also scored four tons in that particualr year. He now has five hundred in the IPL.
