India’s present head coach will end his tenure after the team’s tour to West Indies. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have shortlisted six applicants for the post. The six candidates include Mike Hesson, Tom Moody, Phil Simmons, Lalchand Rajput, Robin Singh and Ravi Shastri.

The present coaching staff comprises of Shastri, batting coach Sanjay Bangar, bowling coach Bharat Arun and fielding coach R.Sridhar. The coaching staff was given a 45-day extension after the World Cup 2019.
