Former India skipper MS Dhoni retired from international cricket on Saturday. The wicket-keeper batsman on Thursday a letter from PM Modi acknowledging his achievement for the country.

Praising his composed nature, PM Modi wrote, “No matter what hairstyle you sported, your calm head remained the same in victory or defeat…”

Dhoni last played for India in the World Cup 2019 semi-final against New Zealand. India lost that match and were eliminated from the tournament.
