“If you will read and write, you will become a Good human, you will be bad if you play.” However, now the era is of professional games and the game not only makes you successful but also gives you the strength to fight the difficulties of life. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also mentioned during the ‘Examination on Discussion’, by referring to sports and sportspersons how to overcome disappointment and move towards victory. He gave the example of VVS Laxman, Rahul Dravid and Anil Kumble’s games during the discussion with the students.
“We have to come out of this thinking that exams are everything,” the prime minister added.
Modi also said everyone should keep abreast of the latest technology but it should not be allowed to govern lives.
The PM also highlighted the importance of taking on extra-curricular activities and said there is a growing tendency among parents to push their children into activities considered ‘glamorous’.
