Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez has announced his retirement from international cricket. Hafeez said on Friday that he will retire from international cricket after the T20 World Cup 2020 to be held in Australia this year. Mohammad Hafeez has got a place in the Pakistan team for the T20 series against Bangladesh. The series starts in Lahore from 24 January.

Mohammad Hafeez made his Pakistan debut in 2003. He has scored 3652 runs in 55 Test matches for his country and has taken 53 wickets. He has also played 218 ODIs. He has scored 6614 runs in the 50-over format and has taken 139 wickets. Hafeez has been an important part of Pakistan’s T20 team. He has played 89 T20 matches. Hafeez has also captained the Pakistan team.
