Sri Lanka finally grabbed a win on their tour of Pakistan after beating the hosts by 64 runs in the first T20I of the series in Lahore. Chasing 165, Pakistan were bundled out for 101 within 18 overs.
The visitors rode on Danushka Gunathilaka’s 57 off 38 and Bhanuka Rajapaksa’s 22-ball 32 to post a decent score on the board. In reply, Pakistan kept losing wickets regularly and were reduced to 96/8 before getting bundled out for 101 eventually. The next match between the two players will be played on Monday at the same venue.
