Pakistan took unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe in Rawalpindi after beating the visiotrs by 6 wickets.

Chasing 207, the home side went over the line in the 36th over. Imam-ul-Haq and Abid Ali started off well for the Pakistan side as the two compiled 68 for the first wicket. While Ali scored 22, Imam missed his fifty by just one run.

But captain Babar Azam held the innings strong from one end remained unbeaten at 77. Haider Ali scored 29.

Earlier, Iftikhar Ahmed’s fifer rattled the Zimbabwe batting line up. Sean Williams though scored 75 while Brendan Taylor struck 36 but their efforts were never enough to provide the visiting team a huge total.

They were eventually bundled out for 206 in 45.1 overs.
