Former India skipper MS Dhoni has been out of action since India’s World Cup 2019 exit in July after they lost to New Zealand in the semi-final. A number of speculations were made about Dhoni’s cricketing future and his retirement from the game but there hasn’t been any such news so far.

Nevertheless, Dhoni’s teammates have been missing him during their tours and journeys. Recently, Yuzvendra Chahal revealed that no one takes the seat where Dhoni used to sit in the team bus on Chahal TV.

He said, “Yeh woh seat hai jaha ek legend baithte they, Mahi bhai (MS Dhoni). Abhi bhi yaha koi nahi baithta. Hum unhe bohot miss kate hai.”

Dhoni last played for India in July 2019 against New Zealand in the World Cup semis. He was also dropped from the BCCI’s centrally contracted players’ list.

India however, are on a tour of New Zealand and made a positive start to their first overseas assignment of the year after winning the first two T20Is.
