India fast bowler Navdeep Saini had a memorable outing in his first appearance for Team India after he grabbed three wickets against West Indies in Florida on Saturday.
Playing his first T20I in India colours, Saini returned with figures of 3/17 in allotted 4 overs.
The right-arm fast bowler has represented Delhi at the domestic level and has been supported by Gautam Gambhir. Gambhir earlier had some heated arguments with former Delhi players and selectors on Saini’s inclusion in the domestic side.
Kudos Navdeep Saini on ur India debut. U already have 2 wkts even before u have bowled— @BishanBedi & @ChetanChauhanCr. Their middle stumps are gone seeing debut of a player whose cricketing obituary they wrote even before he stepped on the field, shame!!! @BCCI pic.twitter.com/skD77GYjk9

Saini dismissed Nicholas Pooran, Kieron Pollard and Shimron Hetmyer. India lead the three-match T20I series 1-0 with the second match scheduled to be played at the same venue on Sunday.
