Mumbai Indians have made a surprising move after they agreed for a players transfer in a trade with Delhi Capitals. MI have let go leg-spinner Mayank Markande and have roped in West Indies all-rounder Sherfane Rutherford.

Markande has played 17 matches for MI and has bagged 16 wickets.

“We wish Mayank the very best for his future,” said Akash Ambani, the owner of Mumbai Indians.
