Australian coach Justin Langer has added former middle-order batsman Michael Hussey to the team’s support staff as a ‘mentor’ for the upcoming T20 series against Sri Lanka and Pakistan. Hussey is the third veteran to join the team.

Earlier, Ricky Ponting was associated with the team during the One-Day World Cup, while Steve Waugh helped the team during the Ashes series in England. Hussey, nicknamed ‘Mr. Cricket’, told the Sydney Daily Telegraph that I am really excited.

Hussey said that I am looking forward to work with the Australian team. Australia will play a series of three T20 Internationals against Sri Lanka and Pakistan at the start of their summer season. Langer had earlier appointed Test fast bowler Ryan Harris as the bowling coach for the series.

Let us tell you, Australia has to play a three-match T20 series against Sri Lanka from 27 October. After this, the team has to play T20 series with Pakistan at the beginning of November i.e. from November 3.
