Coronavirus cases in India are increasing day by day. As such, many places are being converted into Covid-19 care centers. Now Royal Challenger Bangalore’s home ground M Chinnaswamy Stadium will be converted into Covid-19 centre. This step has been taken in view of the increasing cases in the state.

The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) said that after the coronavirus has increased, the government has taken tough steps to deal with the situation. Along with the Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru Palace has also been asked to convert into a Covid-19 care centre.

According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Karnataka has a total of 28,877 coronavirus cases. In this, 16,531 active cases while 11,876 patients have been cured. The Bangalore International Exhibition Center has already been converted into a Covid-19 Care Center due to increasing inventories.
