Is there something that Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni can’t do on a cricket field? Probably NO. While Kohli has made his name with the batting records, Dhoni’s cricketing mind and his ability as the wicket-keeper has gone beyond one’s imagination.

But once during an ODI against Bangladesh in 2015, Kohli was seen keeping wickets for some overs. In a recent chat with fellow teammate Mayank Agarwal on his chat show, ‘Open Nets with Mayank’, the current India captain recalled the incident.

Mayank showed some pictures from this match to Kohli and asked what actually happened. To this, Kohli replied, “Kabhi Mahi bhai se puchiyo how did this happen (Try and ask Mahi Bhai as to how did this happen). He said ‘yaar do teen over just keep wickets (Mate, please keep wickets for couple of overs)’. I was keeping wickets and also adjusting the field.”

Dhoni last played for India in the World Cup 2019 semi-final against New Zealand that India lost. The IPL was seen as his comeback opportunity but the cash-rich league was postponed for an indefinite time leaving the fans in dilemma whether the right-handed batsman would be able to come back or not.

MS was seen practicing at the Chepauk stadium with his CSK franchise before the lockdown.
