Virat Kohli and Steve Smith.

India are set to tour Australia at the end of year. The Virat Kohli-led side has tasted success on the previous occasion and would seek to continue this when they next visit the country.

Australia fast bowler while talking to WION told about his XI. The fats bowler gave the openers’ responsibility to Mayank Agarwal and David Warner while put former skipper Steve Smith to bat at number three.

India captain Virat Kohli follows Smith at number four according to Hazlewood while Cheteshwar Pujara, Marnus Labuschagne or Rohit Sharma at five and six respectively.

In the spin department, Hazlewood picked either Nathan Lyon or R Ashwin while the fast bowling line up comprises of Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood and Jasprit Bumrah.

This seems to be a terrffic line up as Kohli has been a successful campaigner when it comes to performing in Australia while Smith and Warner have scored heaps of runs at home.

Agarwal has a young Test career so far but he has shown the glimpse of his abilities in a short span. Labuschagne too has the pretty same story and has been pretty consistent with the bat so far.

The bowling department too is a balanced one as everyone has a decent experience at the highest level.

Hazlewood’s India-Australia combined Test XI: Mayank Agarwal, David Warner, Steve Smith, Virat Kohli, Cheteshwar Pujara, Marnus Labuschagne/Rohit Sharma, Nathan Lyon/Ravichandran Ashwin, Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, Jasprit Bumrah.
