Board members played out a friendly match at the Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad. The Secretary XI — led by Jay Shah — beat the President XI — led by Sourav Ganguly.
Secretary XI batted first and the side scored 128/3 in 12 overs. Jaydev Shah top-scored with an unbeaten 38. Former India skipper Ganguly struck an unbeaten 53 but his efforts went in vain as the side lost by 28 runs.
