India fast bowler Irfan Pathan bid adieu to the game on Saturday. Pathan was capped in 29 Tests for India where scalped 100 wickets and scored 1105 runs while represented the country in 120 ODIs and 24 T20Is.

The left-hander picked 173 wickets and scored 1544 runs in ODIs and bagged 28 wickets and notched up 172 runs in T20Is.

One of the most significant moments of Pathan’s career came in 2006 against Pakistan when he became the first and only bowler to pick a Test hattrick in the first over. He was the second Indian after Harbhajan Singh to take a hattrick in the longer format.

Pathan was a part of the Indian team that won the inaugural World T20. He was adjudged the Man of the match in the final.
