Indian team veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was a part of the Chennai Super Kings team for a long time in the IPL. Thanks to his superb bowling, he made Dhoni’s team CSK champions in the 2010 and 2011 seasons. However, Ashwin was associated with the team of Kings XI Punjab as captain for some time. R Ashwin has selected a new team to continue his journey in the IPL.
Ravichandran Ashwin may soon start new innings in the IPL with Delhi Capitals. It’s confirmed now Ashwin will be joining Delhi Capitals for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League in 2020.

Ravichandran Ashwin had captained Kings XI Punjab for two seasons and sources had told that he may be joining Delhi Capitals earlier but once Anil Kumble came on board, it was clear that KXIP weren’t ready to release their senior bowler.
“Yes, Ashwin is joining Delhi Capitals,” a senior BCCI official, privy to IPL trade-offs, told PTI on conditions of anonymity.
