India announced the 16-man Test squad for the New Zealand series on Tuesday. Rohit Sharma will miss the series while Shubman Gill, Prithvi Shaw and Navdeep Saini have been included in the side.
Mayank Agarwal has got a place in the ODI squad and he will replace Rohit.
The team would be led by Virat Kohli and the batting department comprises Mayank, Pujara, Shaw, Gill, Ajinkya Rahane, Cheteshwar Pujara and Hanuma Vihari.
The selectors have gone with two front-line wicket-keeper batsmen with Wriddhiman Saha and Rishabh Pant in the team. R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja are two spinners while Jasprit Bumrah, Umesh Yadav, Mohammed Shami and Saini make the fast bowling department.

Ishant Sharma has also been included in the team for now but his selection is subject to fitness clearance.
After Shikhar Dhawan and Hardik Pandya, Rohit became the new addition to the tally of injured Indian players after sustaining a calf injury during India’s final T20I against New Zealand.
