India will play their first-ever Pink ball Test against Bangladesh on Friday at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens ground. The pink ball has been used during the domestic matches in India but this would be the first time that the side will play a Test under floodlights.

*The pink ball takes atleast 8 days to prepare while the red ball ust takes a couple of days.

*It’s made from imported leather

*The inner core of the ball is made of cock and rubber.

*It weighs 156 grams.

*It has a circumference within 22.5cm.

*It has three stitches lip stitch and two pronounced stitches on either side each having 78 stitches.

*The pronounced seam helps better grip on ball even when there is dew.
