India had a brilliant day at the office in Vizag after they leveled the series against West Indies on Wednesday. Batting first, India posted a mammoth 387/5 in 50 overs after riding on individual tons from Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul which were followed by a hattrick from Kuldeep Yadav.

While Rohit and KL scored tons, Shreyas Iyer once again showed his class and hammered 53 off 32. Wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant who came in at number 5 struck a 16-ball 39.

In reply, India picked wickets at crucial stages. West Indies did look steady before Kuldeep scalped the hattrick to derail the side form the track. The chinaman bowler became the first Indian to pick two international hattricks. The visitors were eventually bundled out for 280 as India won the match by 107 runs. Kuldeep and Mohammed Shami picked a three-for each for India.
