West Indies opener Chris Gayle played his last ODI match against India. The aggressive left-handed batsman struck a 41-ball 72 as West Indies were 158/2 in 22 overs when rain stopped play in Trinidad. Gayle got out after he miscued a shot off Khaleel Ahmed and gave a catch to India skipper Virat Kohli at mid off.

West Indies later scored 240/7 in 35 overs in a rain-curtailed match. India had to chase 256 in 35 overs (DLS Method) but lost Rohit Sharma early in the innings.

Shikhar Dhawan and Kohli stitched a 66-run partnership before the left-handed opener departed. The visitors then lost Rishabh Pant on the very next delivery but captain Kohli and Shreyas Iyer steadied the ship for their side.

Kohli struck his 43rd ODI ton while Iyer scored 65 before getting out. India won the match by 6 wickets. With this win, India have clinched the three-match series 2-0.
