India skipper Virat Kohli expressed sorrow on the passing away of the army personnel & the policemen who lost their lives at Handwara.
A Colonel, Major and two jawans of the Indian Army and sub-inspector of the Jammu and Kashmir police lost their lives during the attack.

According to an intelligence report, two terrorists were in a house in Changimulla, Handwara, of Kupwara. The two terrorists were eliminated.
